Through the rainforest
my mind felt clear
when an angel in a Taurus
offered me 38 more years

I don’t like to need nothing
so I changed the subject
can i offer you something?
is what I said instead

I want not what you have
but what’s in your head
Is what she said

my people are old
our traditions vast

I replied with a grin
she offered a laugh

Yes they are, but you ain’t
her laser words burned
right through my warpaint

I’m the holy love, unlike most
now follow me and forget me
and i’ll call off my ghost

To be an empty cup
is your goal out here
to be a vessel for others
it’s all that matters
when you forget your path
then you’ll shatter
to 38 pieces all of them mad
so don’t ask why
‘cause i already told you
and most don’t get that
now walk like you believe
and don’t look back
